Visa
and Immigration Information for entering Mexico
Generally speaking, citizens of most countries are free
to enter Mexico with an FM-T visa - obtained in advance.
Processing of the FM-T can take up to 30 days -
depending on the country in which it is to be obtained.
The embassy in Washington D.C. recommends that you call
the consulate at which you intend to apply for the visa
and ask specifically about the amount of time required
for processing the FM-T visa.
In
the case of U.S. and Canadian Citizens, The FM-T may be
obtained by presenting
one of the following documents:
a) Passport
b) Birth Certificate, accompanied by a photo I.D., or
c) Voter’s Card, accompanied by a photo I.D.

download if you wish.
